A pregnant woman has settled with her employer, bowling company AMT, following her claims of sex discrimination, victimisation and constructive dismissal, reports the BBC. Jane Hayton told a Manchester tribunal that she was obliged to carry out physical work while pregnant and claimed that stomach pains were ignored, while a male employee was sent home with a hangover.
AMT denied the charges, although they settled before the Tribunal came to a verdict.
