The British Standards Institute (BSI) has just launched a new publication - 'Auditing the ISO 19011 Way' - a concise explanation and guide to using the ISO 19011 standard for quality and/or environmental management systems.

Guidelines for quality and/or environmental management systems auditing, were published in October in response to demand for guidance on combined management system audits.

The book provides an overview of modern management systems, then step-by-step guidance on the principles of auditing; audit programme management; carrying out an audit; and the competence and evaluation of auditors.

The guidance is available now to purchase from British Standards Online - http://bsonline.techindex.co.uk - for £45.00.
