How will the war in Iraq affect the day-to-day operations of UK employers? We have provided some links under 'related resources' and 'internet links' to articles and websites that may be of interest.

We are very keen to hear your experiences of how organisations in the UK are handling this.

    - Business continuity: Could your organisation cope with a terrorist attack? What about an anthrax attack?
    - What do you tell the staff? According to press reports today, many London-based firms are advising employees not to travel on the Underground while the war continues, for fear of terrorism. Is this sensible advice? Should employers therefore provide alternative methods of transport?
    - HR challenge: Have employees been joining anti-war demonstration - either at work or leaving work to do so? How should employers deal with this?
    - Facilities: Are televisions being provided in workplaces to allow employees to keep up to date with developments?
    - Or are most employers doing nothing?

Please add your thoughts and experiences about what effect the war will have, and what UK organisations should be doing about it.
