National No Smoking Day: New Calls to Curb Workplace Smoking

The Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) is stepping up its pressure on the Government to tighten controls on workplace smoking to coincide with National No Smoking Day, 12 March 2003.

The CIEH is reiterating its long-standing call for the Government to adopt the approved code of practice on passive smoking at work recommended by the Health and Safety Commission 4 years ago.
