Prime Minister Bans Smoking in Cabinet Meetings

    Prime minister Tony Blair has banned smoking in cabinet meetings to set an example in the drive to stop smoking in the workplace, according to a 20 February report in The Independent.

    "I am reliably informed that smoking does not take place there," said the health minister Lord Hunt.
