ETs on the rise

There has been a marked rise in the number of Employment Tribunal (ET) cases over the last year, with 236,100 cases compared to 151,000 last year, a staggering 56% rise.

Unfortunately, chances are with job cuts in the pipeline for the public sector, these figures may continue to rise, for, as our lead feature spells out this month, when times are hard what does an employee who has lost their job have to lose by putting in a claim?
