The Scottish Trades Union Congress (STUC) is to formally raise concerns about the Health and Safety Executive's 'no increased risk' claim about cancer rates at a Greenock microelectronics factory, it has said.
Last week the HSE issued an independent report which it said showed that workers at the National Semiconductors UK (NSUK) factory in Greenock are not at increased risk of developing occupational cancers.
