HSBC has been criticised by Unite union after it announced plans to extend the working week and cut sick leave for branch managers.
HSBC announced to staff this week that it plans to reduce sickness absence pay for some to a maximum of 26 weeks and halve the contracted level of benefit. It says this is to bring these workers in line with the majority of other staff.
