£2.2m Award in Biggest Ever Sex Discrimination Payout

    The ex-CEO of a recruitment company has been awarded £2.2m compensation in a settlement with her former employers, in what is thought to be the UK's biggest ever sex discrimination payout, reports Ananova.

    Kate Bleasdale had earnt £224,000/year at Match Holdings, a company she had founded in 1987 to recruit former nurses back to the NHS. After a a management buyout, Sir Tim Chessell was appointed Chairman.
