A round-up of all the latest information on arson prevention is now available online, after the launch of a new website by the Government-sponsored Arson Control Forum.

www.arsoncontrolforum.gov.uk offers a one-stop shop to help police, fire officers and property managers keep up-to-date with news and developments in the fight against deliberate fire-setting.

Arson fires in England and Wales cost £2.1bn a year. In the last ten years, there have been about 1.8m arson fires, resulting in 22,000 injuries and 1,100 deaths.

Enquiries about the Arson Control Forum should be directed to 020 7944 4400.
