Waste Management: Transfer Notes Enforcement Delayed

The Environment Agency has announced that it will not enforce the requirement for waste transfer notes to describe waste - in relation to the European Waste Catalogue waste codes - until January 2003.

The Landfill Regulations 2002 required waste transfer notes to describe waste as of 31 August 2002, but the Environment Agency will not enforce this requirement until next year.
