Research has revealed that 37% of employment appeals are against public sector organisations, despite the sector employing just 22% of the UK workforce. The private sector employs three-quarters of the UK workforce (75%) and is involved in just 56% of employment cases. However, appeals figures in the private sector are predicted to rise.
