Warning over dangers of lead exposure after firm is fined £10,000

The HSE has issued a reminder on the dangers of exposure to lead paint in the workplace.  It follows the prosecution of a Perthshire company after two workers were admitted to hospital with acute lead poisoning.

 

Blairish Restorations Limited pleaded guilty to offences under Section 3 of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and was fined £10,000 at Perth Sheriff Court on 16 March 2010.
