A job advertisement that specified applicants should ideally be of Indian origin has sparked controversy.
The advert for a £38,000 job based in Bristol read:
“Minimum six years of experience in IT... The person should be a UK citizen with security clearance from the UK Government. Preferably of Indian origin.” The job was advertised on jobsite.co.uk.
