Community service for woman who withheld previous convictions from employer

    A former GP practice manager who was jailed two years ago for stealing £38,000 from her employer has now been sentenced to 150 hours’ community service for failing to declare her criminal convictions when she got a new job. The judge at Birmingham Crown Court described her as “fundamentally dishonest” and warned if she offended again she would go to prison for a long time.
