A paper boy who sued a newsagent for wrongful dismissal has lost his appeal case at the Employment Appeal Tribunal in London.
Myles Bebbington had been working as a paperboy for the same local newsagent, Sturry News in Canterbury, since he was 13. However, last year when Myles was 15, his employer asked him to start at 6.30 am instead of the usual 7 am. Myles's mother complained that this was illegal and he was later dismissed.
