BA dress code case gives employers greater clarity on religious discrimination

    A leading law firm says a Court of Appeal ruling which rejected a claim of religious discrimination against British Airways provides important clarity for employers on protecting themselves from legal actions based on 'religion or belief'.

     

    Mace & Jones employment law partner Phil Allen said employers needed to be wary of claims of religious discrimination which he thinks could increase as claims under this recent legislation receive more publicity.
