Cutting the working week to 21 hours could address problems such as unemployment, overwork and high carbon emissions, according to think tank the New Economics Foundation (NEF).
The report – entitled 21 hours – examines the case for a radical re-think of the nine-to-five, five-day working week and predicts that shorter working hours are set to become the norm.
