The Court of Appeal has this week upheld a claim that women working for Sheffield City Council are entitled to the same bonus payments as men. The decision in the Gibson & Ors v. Sheffield City Council case could open the door for thousands of women across the country to claim against their council in a similar way, it has been warned.
