Recession-hit companies are keeping people at work longer and increasing workloads, causing 8.4 million Brits to lose sleep in the past year, according to a study of 2,100 workers by insurer RSA and YouGov. RSA has dubbed the phenomenon WAWAW - wide awake worrying about work.
62% of those who lie awake worrying about work said they lose up to 3 hours sleep a night. Half those losing sleep (53%) said they're working longer hours or are waking up in the night worrying about their jobs.... (207 more words)
