Occupational cancers

It may come as a surprise to many that a survey by Hazards Magazine and the TUC suggests that a worldwide epidemic of occupational cancer is claiming at least one life every 52 seconds. Media coverage and public awareness don’t appear to reflect this, which is possibly due to the fact that it is very difficult to prove that the cause of cancer is occupational, as there are so many factors that can contribute to the development of the disease.
