Company director fined by council for repeatedly smoking at work

A company director has been prosecuted by South Ribble Borough Council for repeatedly breaking the law by smoking at his workplace. Martin Lenehan was caught smoking when the council’s enforcement team paid a visit to Metric Scaffolding UK Ltd, in January.

 

Leyland Magistrates heard how Mr Lenehan, an Operations Director, was caught red-handed even though the Higher Walton firm he worked for had previously been issued with a warning.T
