False CVs sent to check on recruiter race discrimination

    It has been reported that fake CVs were sent by civil servants in applications for jobs in an undercover investigation to find out if employers discriminated against applicants on with foreign-sounding names. Some have suggested the study could lead to laws which mean applicants can’t be asked for their names until interview stage.
