As the latest HSE figures for those who have died at work are revealed this week, an expert has expressed particular concerns about safety in the construction sector and specifically on refurbishment projects.
The HSE statistics revealed 53 construction workers died at work last year.
John Lacey, Chairman of the IOSH Construction Group, said that he is concerned about safety on refurbishment projects:
