What does the new DBIS mean for UK businesses?

Following the Government’s announcement of the creation of a new Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (DBIS) last week, business organisations have commented on what it will mean for UK businesses.  The Department will be created by merging BERR and DIUS.

A spokesperson for the CBI told Workplace Law, “We welcome this move, as industrial activism needs joined-up Government.”
