Landmark decision on noise levels could see flurry of claims

    A landmark decision on workplace noise levels could see a flurry of similar claims after a Court of Appeal ruled that the average employer should have known that noise levels of 85 decibels were not safe and should have provided hearing protection to workers even before 1990, when the Noise at Work Regulations came into force.
