New research has suggested that stress caused by the pressures of the economic downturn could cause a rise in workplace accidents. In the survey, published by insurance firm RSA, the majority of respondents – 71% – said they feel more stressed because of the recession and one in five workers said they believe they are more likely to be involved in a workplace accident due to this.
