UK employees take less sick days than many of their European counterparts, according to a new study of workplace absence.
Results of The Pan-European Health and Benefits Report by HR consultancy, Mercer, revealed that UK workers take an average of 5.5 days off sick per year, whereas European employees, on average, take 7.4 days off work per year.
