Sacked groundworkers share Tribunal cash

An 11-strong squad of groundworkers sacked on the spot have won more than £55,000 between them after taking their fight to an Employment Tribunal.

The former employees were claiming that they had been unfairly dismissed and were entitled to redundancy payments, damages for breach of contract and outstanding wages and holiday pay as a result of their job losses in June last year.
