Inspections for air conditioning now required by regulation

The Energy Performance in Buildings Directive (EFBD), which means all air-conditioning systems over 250 kW must be inspected annually for energy efficiency, is now in effect as of 4 January 2009.

The EPBD states that as of 4 January this year all buildings with air conditioning systems with an effective rated output of more than 250kW must have had their first inspection.

Additionally, by 4 January 2011, all air conditioning systems over 12kW must have had their first inspection. From 4 Ja... (121 more words)
