Look at contracts to survive recession, says solicitor

    Firms who want to ride out the recession should review their employees' contracts, try to renegotiate with suppliers and remember that "cash is king," one corporate recovery lawyer insists.

    Azher Quyoom, of Dickinson Dees in York, adds that streamlining and concentrating on debt collection are among the best ways to prosper in a downturn and adds that there is no legal reason why firms cannot approach suppliers to try and change their contracts:
