Maternity leave – everything changes again

Maternity leave is a confusing issue, what with the fact that there are three different types: compulsory, ordinary and additional. However, as of 5 October, the distinction between ordinary maternity leave (OML) and additional maternity leave (AML) has been removed. So what does this mean in practice?
