An EU survey of 4,000 businesses has placed the UK at the very bottom of the European chart when it comes to business regulation. The results show that tax and employment regulations are at the top of the list. Of the 15 EU countries in the chart, the UK is placed 15th.

The Workplacelaw Network is hosting a policy discussion on 29 November, involving the DTI, the IoD, the CBI, the Small Business Service, and representatives from law firms and, importantly, workplace managers. The aim of the meeting is to find out how best the law can be opened up to UK employers - an area where the Workplacelaw Network is at the forefront.

The findings will be reported in the coming weeks. For more information please contact us at info@workplacelaw.net.
