EU vote "not the end of the working time opt-out"

    This week the European Parliament's employment committee recommended that the Working Time Directive should be amended by removing the right for workers to opt out of the 48 hour working week limit.

    The widely publicised vote in the European Union raises concerns for many employers, particularly in the current economic climate.
