Tribunals taskforce: more details

The DTI has established a task force to consider how Employment Tribunals, the Employment Appeals Tribunal and ACAS can be made more cost-effective.  Following the Leggatt Report, the task force will consider the needs of Tribunal users (particularly small businesses and individual applicants) and will also canvass the views of the judiciary and Tribunal staff.

The Taskforce will report to the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry and the Lord Chancellor in spring 2002.
