New chair for the fire business and community safety forum

The Fire Minister Sadiq Khan has announced the new chair of the Business Community Safety Forum, Councillor Leslie Byrom. The current chair of the BCSF Pamela Castle retired on 18 October 2008.



Les Byrom will take on the chair of the Business and Community Safety Forum for a period of twelve months with effect from 24 October 2008.



Pamela Castle has been the chair of the BCSF since its inception in 2003. Previously she was chair of the Central Fire Brigades Advisory Council.
