Employees continue to work through illness, study shows

A survey has revealed a new trend among British workplaces as insecure employees continue to work even whilst ill.

The study, published by AXA PPP healthcare, has revealed that 72% of employees continue to go to work despite feeling unwell enough to justify staying at home.

The findings were based on an online survey conducted for AXA PPP healthcare by OnePoll. During August, 2,000 adults of working age were asked to give their experiences of sickness and work.
