Will extended time off entitlements encourage volunteering?

Workers could be granted more time off to participate in local volunteering roles under new Government plans unveiled this week.

Communities Secretary Hazel Blears has announced a wish to modernize the list of activities that entitles people to time off from work, making it easier for more employees to help their local communities.
