Cleaner demands compensation claiming lack of English is disability

A discrimination case where a worker claimed that her inability to speak English was a disability has been struck off before reaching an employment tribunal.

Polish worker Izabela Smolarek, 30, brought the case against previous employer ISS Facility Services Ltd, who she claimed exploited her inability to understand her job contract.
