HSE issues reminder to explosives industry about REACH

The HSE has issued a reminder to businesses dealing with explosives that they have duties under the REACH Regulations that they might be overlooking.

The manager of the HSE’s online Explosives Group sent the reminder after “anecdotal evidence” suggested that the manufacturers and importers of explosives and explosive devices do not fully understand their duties or the implications for them if early action is not taken:
