Royal Mail accused of "draconian" absence management

    Royal Mail has been accused by a union of using draconian practices, including monitoring when employees clock in and out of the company’s security system, to track staff absences.

    Mike Sibley, Royal Mail’s Head of Operations for Heathrow Worldwide Distribution Centre, stated n the national press that he is tackling absence through “rigorous management in order to increase profits”:
