Landmark case rules discriminatory pay protection unlawful

    A landmark ruling in the Court of Appeal could pave the way for extra income for thousands of low paid women in local authorities and the NHS. A critical equal pay test case has ruled that pay protection schemes which perpetuate sex discrimination are unlawful.
