EHRC to intervene in mandatory retirement case

    Despite the Heyday legal challenge leading to all Employment Appeal Tribunals (EAT) relating to the retirement age being put on hold, an appeal has begun now in the case of a former senior partner of a Kent law firm who was not allowed to work beyond retirement age.
