A Labour MP has voiced concern that the Government is proposing to weaken the laws that protect workers from asbestos exposure.
David Taylor, MP for Leicestershire North West, says he is alarmed by the Government’s proposal to abolish the requirement on employers to retain employers’ liability compulsory insurance for 40 years. The proposal is due to be introduced before the summer recess through a statutory instrument.
