New Government guidance on benefits in maternity leave

Following changes to the Sex Discrimination Act, which came into force on 6 April 2008 following the finding of the High Court last year that the Act did not correctly implement the Equal Treatment Directive, the Government has issued new guidance notes, with examples, on benefits employers must provide to employees on maternity leave.
