The Government is still planning to introduce the Single Equality Bill in this year’s Queen’s Speech (November 2008) despite a delay in publishing any of the draft clauses for it.
Prime Minister Gordon Brown confirmed that the Bill will be introduced this year in the announcement of his draft legislative programme:
