Businesses told to learn from Buncefield

The HSE has brought together over 200 industry leaders experienced in major hazards to share their knowledge of safety, and to discuss the future of managing potential hazards.  

At the conference they identified common challenges faced by their businesses and were reminded that an absence of major incidents in recent years is not, in itself, an assurance of an overall improvement in process safety.
