New waste regulations due to come into force

The Site Waste Management Plans Regulations 2008 will come into force on 6 April 2008. 

These Regulations require any person intending to carry out a construction project with an estimated cost greater than £300,000 to prepare a site waste management plan. This plan should state how building materials and other waste products will be removed from the site.
