The best things in life are free – including tap water

Employers have been asked to shun bottled water, in favour of that out of the tap, in a new initiative to cut the costs – in both financial and environmental terms – of the three billion bottles of water the UK consumes each year.

Following on from an initiative launched in New York last year, the Consumer Council for Water (CCW) said the campaign would make organisations think twice about ordering bottled water for conferences and during meetings, and throughout the workplace.&... (213 more words)
