More funding for ACAS in dispute resolution shake-up

    ACAS will receive up to an extra £37m of funding in the shake-up to simplify the dispute resolution system, which will help to prevent workplace disputes unnecessarily going to Employment Tribunals.

    The announcement, made at the ACAS/CIPD annual conference by Pat McFadden, the Minister for Employment Relations, is said to signal the Government's recognition that ACAS “not only benefits businesses and employees but also the wider economy”.
